This is effectively what you have been looking at in the European Heating section of our site. The John Guest Underfloor Heating System, the Savona Radiator Systems and the Tank in Tank Domestic water heating Options are all parts of an Integrated Boiler System. The idea is one common boiler to supply heat to all the services. A classic integrated system would have the one boiler providing for the Underfloor Heating on the ground floor, the Radiator heating on the upper floors and the total requirements of domestic hot water.

In our view this is how you put together the ultimate performance package. But this is just the beginning, there are multiple options on how to control a system and what other options will enhance the performance of a system. What type of boiler, what type of fuel, what type of control, what type of infrastructure? At As-Spec we understand that everyone is out there singing the praises of their respective systems. That’s business. But do they tell you the negatives, or are they something you get to discover with time? We believe it is important you understand both the benefits and the drawbacks of any system you’re assessing.

All systems have limitations, differing efficiencies, differing performance levels in different areas.
